Our Mission
Ground Up Collective is an Atlanta-based nonprofit organization that cultivates garden spaces and hands-on learning experiences, classes, and workshops that nourish minds, bodies, and local ecosystems.
Our mission is to make gardening and healthy eating simple, joyful, and accessible for children and adults in the Atlanta area. Through meaningful relationships with one another and the environment around us, we promote environmental stewardship, self-expression, and healthy communities.
Our Team
From the Ground Up is a collective of environmental, food, art, and movement instructors who have been inspiring children and adults across the Southeast for nearly a decade.
Together, our team has led national farm-to-school trainings, hosted gardening webinars, facilitated community garden workshops, hosted fundraising events, and delivered in-school curriculum-based lessons. We bring a wealth of experience, creativity, and passion to every learning space we enter.
